1. Introduction & Acceptance
By booking or using any services offered by Karlitos Escapes, you accept these Terms & Conditions, the Cancellation Policy and the Privacy Policy. A binding contract is formed when you complete a booking and we provide confirmation. All bookings are subject to availability and acceptance by Karlitos Escapes.
These terms apply to all services provided, including tours, transfers, shared excursions, and future activities.
2. Booking & Payment
Bookings may be made online, by phone, or by email. A booking is confirmed only after full payment or receipt of a specified deposit, as shown at the time of booking.
You must supply accurate details (full name as in ID/passport, contact info, special requirements). We are not responsible for loss or costs due to incorrect information.
Prices are shown in the currency indicated at booking and may include taxes and fees as stated. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors or descriptions prior to confirmation.
3. Cancellation & Refunds
By the customer:
Cancellations made more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled service qualify for a full refund, unless a different policy is displayed for that specific product.
Cancellations within 24 hours of departure are generally non-refundable, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
By the company or supplier:
If a service is cancelled by us or our supplier (for operational reasons, equipment failure, or safety concerns), we will offer a full refund or an alternative date/service when feasible.
In the event of adverse weather or force majeure, we will present options (rescheduling, refund, or alternative). Refunds, if issued, will be processed to the original payment method and may take several business days to appear.
Special services / private charters:
Different deposit and cancellation rules may apply for private or customised services; those terms will be shared during booking.
4. Changes & Amendments
We may need to change itineraries, departure times, or service details for operational reasons. Where a significant change occurs we will notify you and offer alternatives when possible. Minor adjustments do not entitle you to refunds unless they materially affect the service.
5. Liability & Limitations
We act as a service provider and intermediary for third-party suppliers (transport, guides, etc.). We are not responsible for losses, delays, or failures caused by third-party suppliers beyond our control.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount actually paid for the booking. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence where prohibited by law.
6. Health, Safety & Conduct
You are responsible for assessing your suitability for any activity. If in doubt, consult a doctor prior to booking.
Follow instructions from guides, crew, and staff. The company may refuse or terminate service to anyone whose behaviour endangers others or violates rules; no refund will be given in such cases.
Children must be supervised; specific age or height restrictions may apply to certain activities.
7. Personal Belongings & Lost Items
Guests may bring a small personal bag with essentials (medication, sun protection, water, etc.). Please keep valuable items (passports, money, phones, jewelry) with you at all times. While we take reasonable care, we do not accept responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal items during travel or activities. If items are found, we will make reasonable efforts to assist with recovery.
8. Communications & Notifications
By providing your contact details you agree to receive booking confirmations and essential service-related notifications (e.g., booking updates, changes to schedule). We will not send marketing or promotional messages, and your contact information will not be used for advertising purposes.
9. Data Protection & Privacy
We collect personal information required to process and fulfil bookings (name, contact details, payment info). We use this data to provide services, send confirmations, and communicate necessary updates.
We do not sell personal information. We may share data with third-party suppliers when needed to deliver services (e.g., transport or activity providers).
We implement reasonable technical and organisational security measures, but cannot guarantee absolute security. By booking, you consent to our use of your data as described. For more details, contact us.
10. Intellectual Property & Content Use
All content on our website (text, images, designs) is our property or used under licence. You may not reproduce or distribute content without written permission.
11. Complaints & Dispute Resolution
If you have a complaint, please contact us promptly at info@karlitosescapes.gr or by phone at +30 690 911 8936. We will investigate and aim to resolve issues quickly. If dispute resolution is required, the matter will be handled under the governing law noted below.
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in that country.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms & Policies occasionally. The latest version will be published on our website with the “Last updated” date. Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
